The Review
This was an inventive and creative children’s book. The cartoon-style illustrations of these two kingdoms and the even pacing of the narrative were great to see come to life. The heartfelt aspect of the narrative and the natural progression of the tension between these two kingdoms will keep readers invested in the story.
To me, the overall message and theme of the story was so engaging. The author did a wonderful job of showcasing the power of overcoming our differences and working together to help the people we care the most about. The way the eraser and pencil kingdoms balanced each other out and the focus on the young girl whom they both helped on a regular basis made this a compelling read.
