This upcoming year of 2013 is sure to have many hit titles in the gaming industry. Games such as Tomb Raider, Dead Space 3, Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, and many more. These games will showcase the ever changing landscape of the gaming industry, from new technologies to more complex and thought-provoking storytelling. Some will continue existing franchises. Some will re-imagine old video game series. And others will explore new stories from the leaders of the gaming industry. However, one game in particular shows more promise than the others, giving players the most intense, action-packed, story driven experience that 2013 has to offer. We here at On Request Magazine feel that this game, the Most Anticipated Game of 2013, is Bioshock Infinite.
Bioshock Infinite is actually a sort of prequel to the previous two games in the series. Rather than explore the city of Rapture, an underwater Utopia gone awry, players will explore the floating city of Columbia. Taking the reigns of main character Booker DeWitt, a former agent of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, you will be charged with entering the city of Columbia, and finding a girl named Elizabeth. Once he finds her, he is to protect her and rescue her from the beast who holds her. Upon arriving in the city, Booker finds that the laws of science have been bent, and the laws of physics as he knew it have changed forever.
This game shows so much promise this year. Between the amazing artwork and color scheme of the scenery, the amazing story that we have only gotten a glimpse of, and the action-driven game-play that players have witnessed during E3 2012, Bioshock Infinite is going to be one of the most amazing games of 2013, and we here at On Request Magazine are proud to name Bioshock Infinite as this years Most Anticipated Game of 2013.
